Studying film documentary at Norwich University, Matt enjoyed access to a talented faculty. Alas, it was cold in Vermont, and he returned to his native Texas to finish his degree in graphic arts at Texas State University.

After three years as a freelance starving artist he returned to Corpus Christi. He was the Marketing Director for a large multi-city staffing company headquartered in Corpus Christi. He was selected as a Corpus Christi Top 40 Under 40 in 2008. He has been active in Corpus Christi Chamber events and volunteers for a number of organizations.
